The 2018 Hutchinson ECO-MEET was held on Tuesday, October 2.
7 teams made up of 28 students from 3 schools competed.
Winning Teams:
1st Place: Inman High School “A”
L-R: Coach Daniel Knapp, Bailey Eck, Jordan Friesen, Nathan Bashore, Damian Raney.
Each student received a $100 scholarship award.
2nd Place: Inman High School “B”
L-R: Coach Daniel Knapp, Julian White, Dayton Real, Parker Eck, missing: Dantlie Raney.
Each student received a $75 scholarship award.
3rd Place: Pratt High School “A”
L-R: Coach Joy Schmidt, Lucas Baker, Ruby Howell, Alesha Bergner, Madeline Drake.
Each student received a $50 scholarship award.
Focus Area Winners – Reptiles & Amphibians:
1st Place: Alesha Bergner – Pratt A
Alesha received a $75 scholarship award and a one-year membership to the Kansas Herpetological Society.
2nd Place: Bailey Eck – Inman A
Bailey received a $50 scholarship award and a one-year membership to the Kansas Herpetological Society.
Focus Area Winners – Woodlands:
1st Place: Damian Raney – Inman A
Damian received a $75 scholarship award.
2nd Place: Alesha Bergner – Pratt A
Alesha received a $50 scholarship award.
