2018 Southeast Kansas Regional Eco-Meet Results

The 2018 Southeast Kansas Regional Eco-Meet was held on Wednesday, October 17.

4 teams made up of 16 students from 4 schools competed.

Winning Teams:

1st Place: St. Mary’s-Colgan High School

L-R: Anthony Easom, Ainsley Balthazor, Avery Thomas, Saia Stahl and Coach Donna Maus

2nd Place: Crest High School

L-R: Coach Bailey Lee, Karter Miller, Vicky Rodriguez, Jewel Armstrong, & Tucker Yocham

3rd Place: Cherryvale High School

L-R: Coach Andy Beshear, Harley Allen, Camdyn Forman, Dexter Small, & Trinity Kuehn

Focus Area Winners – Reptiles & Amphibians:

1st Place:  Anthony Easom, St. Mary’s Colgan

Anthony received a one-year membership to the Kansas Herpetological Society.

2nd Place: Avery Thomas, St. Mary’s Colgan

Avery received a one-year membership to the Kansas Herpetological Society.

Focus Area Winners – Woodlands:

1st Place: Karter Miller from Crest High School

2nd Place: Jewel Armstrong, Crest High School

The Southeast Kansas Eco-Meet was hosted at Greenbush by the Southeast Kansas Education Service Center.
